1. The Park Loggia

The Park Loggia, a luxury tower located in New York City’s Upper West Side, features a sophisticated dining room with a pair of bursting chandeliers that hang over a long rectangular table. This chandelier complements the paired down, tone on tone palette of the room and creates a strikingly modern feel. A black-stained oak table with brass inlay is and black leather and brass chairs mirror the tones of the chandeliers, bringing unity and cohesion to the dining space.

2. Lost Tree Way

Located in Palm Beach, this contemporary getaway required a substantial yet discreet dining room chandelier; one that did not obstruct the room’s tropical views and influx of natural daylight. A metal-framed silhouette from designer Jan Pauwels provides the structure of the chandelier, while the small E10 bulbs keep the fixture lightweight and transparent. Pembrooke & Ives used this chandelier to keep the space feeling open and airy while bringing a central focus to the dining area within an open floor plan.

3. Madison Square Park

This Nomad apartment features a dining room with a mid-century modern aesthetic. Warm cream and wood tones accompany an organically shaped chandelier by Roll & Hill. The fixture displays branching brass arms and frosted bulbs to illuminate the table beneath. Pembrooke & Ives paired this chandelier with a custom oval table and curved-back dining chairs to soften the space. The use of walnut and suede materials reflect the warmth cast by the chandelier and create an inviting area for loved ones to gather.

In addition to the functional illumination chandeliers provide, they are also used to bring a central focus to a dining space, accenting and unifying the various other design elements in the room. Whether it’s radial, linear, or organically shaped, Pembrooke & Ives thoughtfully selects fixtures that compliment the overall design intent of a space and add the ‘wow’ factor.
