Salone del Mobile 2023 Highlights
As interior designers, attending the annual design festival Salone del Mobile in Milan is a must for staying on top of trends and innovations in the design world. It’s an opportunity to discover new products, connect with other designers, and find inspiration for our projects. We’ve rounded up a few exhibits that peaked our interest at the show.
Tacchini
Tacchini is an Italian furniture brand known for their sleek and contemporary designs. Their exhibit at Salone del Mobile showcased a range of pieces with bold colors, geometric shapes, and clean lines, with a focus on comfort and functionality. Tacchini’s furniture is made with sustainable materials and practices to reduce their environmental impact.
Ferroluce
Ferroluce is an Italian lighting brand that specializes in handcrafted lamps and fixtures. Their collection at this year’s Salone del Mobile featured vintage-inspired designs that blended classic and modern elements. We loved their use of color and shape to create whimsically modern illuminated sculptures.
Alcova
As a design collective that brings together a diverse group of designers, Alcova‘s exhibit in Milan featured conceptual installations that explored design, art, and technology. A Lot of Brasil & Pedro Franco Design
Pedro Franco Design is a design studio based in Colombia that creates furniture and accessories inspired by nature and cultural heritage. The collection at Salone del Mobile 2023 collaborated with A Lot of Brasil to display handmade pieces that incorporate wood, clay, and fiber materials.
Nilufar
Nilufar is an Italian design gallery that specializes in rare and vintage pieces from the 20th century, as well as contemporary designs. Their exhibit offered eclectic and avant-garde pieces that put playful color at the forefront, backed by unexpected forms.
Loewe
Loewe is a Spanish luxury fashion and accessories brand that also creates home decor items. Their exhibit at Salone del Mobile 2023 showcased products such as blankets, pillows, and ceramics, that evoked the brand’s signature use of high-quality materials and artisanal craftsmanship for ultimate comfort and luxury.
