Pembrooke & Ives is thrilled to share a peek of the first phase of our renovation for the Liberty National Golf Club, located in Jersey City, New Jersey. Over this year’s Memorial Day weekend, the 18-hole world-class golf course hosted an inaugural LPGA Tour event, the Mizuho Americas Open, and served as an opportunity to showcase our design.

The new Pro Shop, the first of three renovated spaces, is a minimal and contemporary retail concept featuring floor-to-ceiling display shelving with an integrated lighting system to display the merchandise in a highly curated manner.

The Bistro offers a combination of banquette seating and bar-height tables, as well as a countertop that serves as a buffet by day and a bar by night. A custom feature wall showcases an illuminated, recessed plaster relief that disappears when the fluted panel wall slides up to reveal a service station for evening drinks.

The President’s Cup Lounge serves as the club’s restaurant, complete with seamlessly integrated indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the golf course. The design of the space is modern and clean, with dark woods and contemporary architectural details, such as the cove lighting and back-lit bar.

Pembrooke & Ives is currently working on Phase 2 of the renovation.
