5 Round Dining Tables for Your Gathering Space
Round dining tables are versatile pieces of furniture that can address spatial concerns while maintaining aesthetic elegance. Their compact, balanced form is particularly well-suited to small, square spaces, so we often incorporate circular tables into kitchens, breakfast nooks, and bar areas. These intimate gathering areas infuse a sense of casual sophistication into daily life around the home.
Penthouse in the Sky
The Penthouse in the Sky kitchen is defined by neutral tones and sleek chrome accents. The room is anchored by a custom round breakfast table, designed by Pembrooke & Ives. The table, with its chrome-finished base, glass top, and complimentary dining chairs not only enhances the contemporary design but also provides a casual and versatile space for everyday dining.
Fifth Avenue Pied-a-Terre
The kitchen of our Fifth Avenue Pied-à-Terre showcases a striking yacht-inspired dining nook, complete with a built-in banquette encircling a round-top table. A curved wall, elegantly clad in high-gloss wood paneling, mirrors the shape of the table, introducing a sense of fluidity and movement within the space. Not only does the round table enhance the room’s aesthetic, but it also improves the flow of foot traffic. For added functionality, the nook features recessed shelving for both storage and display.
Lakefront Home
Our Lakefront Home project features a striking twelve-person round dining table in the formal dining room, a custom creation by Rossi Antiques. The table’s lacquered top, adorned with gold drip detailing and hand-painted chinoiserie motifs, adds refined artistry. This room embodies Art Deco glamour with its bold, high-contrast palette. The scale of the table is particularly noteworthy and makes a grand statement. The shape is beautifully echoed by an antique chandelier overhead, reinforcing the room’s cohesive, sophisticated and symmetrical design.
Historic Palm Beach
The glamorous Art Deco kitchen in our Historic Palm Beach home features a striking custom circular dining table, with a sandwiched laminated glass top and chrome banding along the edge. The table’s sleek design integrates seamlessly into the kitchen’s Art Deco palette of chrome, turquoise, and black. Overhead, a round light fixture with nautical elements, reminiscent of a porthole, reinforces the table’s circular shape while nodding to Palm Beach’s legacy of coastal glamour.
Ocean-front Compound
Our Ocean-front Compound features a casual breakfast area centered around a round table with a hammered chrome tulip base. Positioned in the kitchen near a bay window, the table is perfectly framed by the natural light and expansive views. The color palette, inspired by Palm Beach’s coastal beauty, introduces vibrant tones of yellow and turquoise that reflect the stunning waterfront just outside. Minimal decor allows the breathtaking view to take center stage, enhancing the open, airy feel of the space.
