The Central Park South home redefines modern eclecticism with thoughtful design, drawing inspiration from rare and distinctive art and design pieces. Public spaces feature bold pops of color that uplift the home, while private areas retreat into a palette of calming neutrals. The design radiates an understated elegance, effortlessly transitioning between ease and liveliness.

Living Room

The expansive living room boasts a breathtaking panoramic view of Central Park. The room’s generous scale presented a challenge and an opportunity, inspiring several custom pieces, including the striking Van Den Loom carpet, which features a pattern designed by Pembrooke & Ives.

The space is thoughtfully divided into two distinct seating areas separated by a custom billiards table that introduces an energetic pop of pink and creates a captivating center line. To ensure the view remains the focal point, the furnishings are deliberately low-profile, allowing the cityscape to shine.

Dining Room

This intimate formal dining room blends bold tones with neutral hues making for a refined, contemporary palette. At the heart of the space, Cliff Young chairs encircle a striking custom resin table by Atta Inc., while an overhead bronze light fixture adds a touch of sculptural elegance. The Chesney’s black marble mantel is uniquely designed by Pembrooke & Ives and serves as a grounding element to the room.

Office

The moody, mid-century-inspired home office features a palette of rich, cool tones accented with punchy pops of marigold. A custom light fixture by Rogan Gregory, commissioned from R & Company, adds an artistic focal point overhead. Thoughtfully designed custom desks and state-of-the-art monitors are seamlessly integrated, achieving a perfect balance of functionality and style.

Dressing Room

Getting dressed is a creative act, and this dressing room is designed to inspire at every turn. Tailored to reflect the client’s personal taste and style, the space becomes an intimate expression of individuality. The carefully curated palette draws hues directly from the wardrobe. This harmonious interplay transforms getting dressed into a moment of artistry and self-expression.

Powder Room

The powder room is a vibrant homage to Art Deco design, with bold pink walls striking a dramatic contrast against the sleek black stone vanity. Despite its compact size, the space makes a striking impression, with an illuminated mirror that evokes the timeless allure of Old Hollywood glamour and elevates the room’s dramatic ambiance.
